Barn N Bytes

About Me

Hi, I'm Salim — a DevOps engineer and technologist who's taking a reflective break from the industry as it reshapes itself under the weight of AI and automation.

After years in the cloud, I've come back down to earth — literally — spending my days renovating an 1800s barn-house, tinkering with IoT sensors, woodworking, and 3D printing oddball tools to solve everyday problems. I still build SaaS and digital solutions, but now they focus more on country-side living, not just containers and cloud costs.

This blog is my way of staying sharp and sharing how I mix the digital with the physical — where sawdust meets software, and old-world craftsmanship meets modern tech curiosity. I haven't left the DevOps/Technology sector, but I'm rethinking how it fits into this next chapter.
